Had an overnight stay, our first time in Barcelona and after much research, decided to go with Sant Agusti and so glad we did! It's modern, extremely clean and the breakfast room is lovely n bright! Quiet location but so so close to everything . The small square outside clearly has drainage issues so the smell was quite revolting n prevented us from eating outside in the restaurant. Luckily it didn't permeate into the hotel itself. Beds were on the hard side maybe a topper wudve made it perfect. Computers were very handy n free an added bonus, as was the delicious ample breakfast. Staff were helpful n efficient, even if they didn't exude the warm n fuzzies but, to be honest, we found this everywhere in Barcelona. Great value for money got a great deal from the travel agency n would stay there again!

Room Tip: Book with a travel agency they have good selections of rom types.

I`ve been there 4 times before, its great ! Real value for money! Redecorated in 2010. Very clean , very quiet and still in the middle of La Rambla. Very nice restaurant downstairs next to the hotel where ou can sit out for a nightcap,- and they have fantastic tapas there :-)

Room Tip: 4 th floor ,- so quiet , window in the roof and so private. 3 floor french doors with a balcony...

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and it was amazing! The lobby was modern and spacious, and there were three computers in the lobby. The rooms were decorated very good and modern. The bathroom was very clean and spacious and there were an LCD TV with English channels,so you can enjoy watching TV if you're not Spanish. And the staff was helpful. There were two bad things.Firstly, the breakfast was poor.We can't eat pork because of our religion,so we got hungry after one hour from the breakfast. The other bad thing was outside. The outside smelled like trash and toilet but you don't get the smell when you're in your room.I prefer you to stay at there.

The location near La Rambla is excellent. Also just walking distance to Place de Catalunya and the Bari Gothic, as well as the marina. The staff is gracious, and the rooms are simple and comfortable.

Our room was very basic with not a great outlook (we were at the back)....however, it was spotless and ideal for a city break. Situated just off Las Ramblas, approximately half way down, it was perfect for bars, restaurants and shops with plenty of taxis to take us when we wanted to go a bit further out (I think the taxis are still good value, especially for a party of four).

My only gripe, when the square in front of the hotel was washed down (every night it seemed) it had a slight smell and was very sticky to walk on. But this isn't enough to put me off and this hotel will definitely be my first choice next time I visit.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the square
