Very nice hotel in a reasonably price. Location is good, you can reach La Rambla in 7 min. by walk and in the area you can find good restaurant.

Overall a positive experience and I would consider staying there again. I was in town for the Sónar Festival and just needed a safe, quiet place for my belongings and to clean up and rest between events... It was close to the train line to shoot up to MACBA for the daytime events and close to the place where I took the Pro shuttle to the night events... Generally the area felt a little dicey walking around as a foreign woman alone. Also, the elevator in this hotel was really slow. However, the room was clean when I arrived and cleaned well daily, Everything functioned properly and the room, though small, was spacious enough for me/my purposes. Basic, clean, safe, friendly & helpful staff!

It was really nice to stay in the hotel but flush noises from rooms above was a little bit annoying. Breakfast option is possbile but not recommended. It would be also nice to have refrigerator there.
But in general I would recommend to stay there because price/service relation is pretty fair.

We recently had a short break in Barcelona and found this hotel on a hotel booking site. Arriving late at night, the first impression was of a pretty sad area. And next morning, having found that there wasn't a decent breakfast on offer, we explored and found a cafe with excellent food and at a reasonable price. We did get a no-hassle refund without even asking!
The hotel rooms are small and basic. The walls are absolutely paper thin - we could hear other people talking (and unfortunately, other activities) next door and underneath. The air conditioning hadn't been activated and so there was warm air blowing into the rooms - the temperature outside was approx 36deg. It took two requests to get some cool air, but once on, it was efficient.
High praise though for the staff, particularly Joseph Luis and Raphael, their 'tourist' advice was sound, and any 'niggle' did get sorted to the best of their capabilities.
The hotel is quite near the Parall-el - and there are some decent cafe's and restaurants along that road. The harbour area is walkable and you are able to get on the City Tour buses there.
If you want a (relatively) cheap and cheerful hotel with accomodating staff, I would recommend this hotel. If you want 3* - look elsewhere.
