Two night stay as part of the Camino walk. This older property is located on the square facing the cathedral of Burgos. It's a perfect location for exploring the old city with the tourist information centre located nearby. The room I had was quiet, comfortable, although dated and no view of the Cathedral. There is a lift, AC and WiFi. The breakfast was good with good variety, and you can have some sparkling wine if you feel up to it! Reception staff were hit and miss in terms of asking for assistance.

Couldn't ask for a better view to wake up to. Cathedral almost touching distance. We had a family suite, was expecting us all in same room and in modern bit but no we had a room in old part overlooking the cathedral with 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom. Breakfast very good and catered no problem for my gluten free son. Would prefer separate pillows rather than large bolster for double bed

It's hard to give a complete review of the hotel, as we were upgraded and stayed in one of their apartments just next door.

Lots of space, which was great.

The hotel staff were friendly, and sitting in the main lobby foyer having a coffee looking out at the cathedral was quite something.

I have stayed at this hotel three times now, and keep returning because it is excellent and is in the centre of beautiful Burgos. The rooms are top class, the staff are excellent, the location is on the cathedral square (the cathedral is one of the best in the world) and there is private, secure, underground parking. I look forward to an opportunity to return.

Room Tip: Suites are in the 'other' building across the road (but still on the cathedral square).

We stopped here for desert after a disappointing dinner elsewhere - what a find. A small quaint restaurant tucked into the surrounding building overlooking the cathedral. The restaurant looked newly done - with exposed stone walls and wooden beams. The staff were dressed in traditional costume. My husband and son had the house cake - which was actually two plus ice cream, my daughter the ice cream with chocolate orange fudge sauce and I had vanilla custard - all were great as was the desert wine and port we had with them.
