Not fresh ! Everything is hot... cheese... ham... orange juice... or out of date... No real coffee only Nescafé... really horrible for this kind of hotel. Some rooms are removed but others need really to be updated...

Hello,
we are Pretty disappointed booking this 3 Stars Hotel which defintely hasnt the Worth of this category.
The Curtain in the bathroom is mildewed the TV remote isn't working, the housekeeping is Working Pretty Long Until the afternoon and is beside Pretty Loud abf moreover the Room is Badley Soundproofed.
Don't delude Yourself by the pictures at TA. The room pictures Are just the pics of the nice rooms. WE have 2 rooms which Are small, and badly Done up.
However the receptionist is Really polite.

Sorry, but WE defintely cant recommend this Hotel and will be happy to leave tommorow.

Cheers

Absolutely brilliant value for money. Clean and spacious rooms. Three course meal with whole bottle of wine exceptional value at 12 euro each! Breakfast was a help yourself buffet with fresh fruit, croissants, yoghurt, ham and cheese. Would thoroughly recommend.

Jan 14, 2016. The hotel was excellent. The staff were very helpful. The room was clean, tastefully decorated and comfortable and the breakfast was good.
Dinner in the restaurant (under 22 Euros for 2 people-not kidding) was chef quality, 3-courses plus bread, bottled house wine, water and coffee.
Dinner was superb in quality, presentation and cost. A lovely surprise.
One example of helpfulness was when the young lady at the front desk used her computer to show us photos of each type of food item on the menu so our limited language skills didn't ruin our meal selections.
We not only will use this hotel again, but we may rearrange our future travels to use it for more days.
Hotel Los Braseros is the best hotel we have tried in Northern Spain and was a perfect start to our annual 3 week winter holiday driving from France to Portugal.

I would have given this stay a 3 were it not for how very rude the reception lady was when we left.
It started well enough - we were exhausted and the hotel was ideally located for us (it is a 35 min walk from the centre so might not be so well located for others) so we were most happy to get a room. The four-poster bed looked romantic enough and the bathroom had a bath and it was great to have a nice soak. The first lady we encountered at reception was smily, friendly and helpful.
The fist irritation came with the air-con. We couldn't get it to work and when we asked at the desk she said she'd turn it on remotely, except she didn't. That evening we had to ask three times for the air-con to be turned on and still it was turned off again in the middle of the night which made the wake up early and stuffy. This added to the cracks in the ceiling and the fact the jacuzzi bath only worked as a normal bath and made us realise the hotel is really a bit tired, and maybe the staff too.
What shocked and angered me was the rude attitude of the new reception clerk the next day. We had said as we'd come in and been quoted the price for a night that we wouldn't be having breakfast and we consequently didn't have breakfast. Yet we were charged for it (a 12€ breakfast in a city were cafes do breakfast for half that) and I only noticed that when we'd left and my husband commented on the price in passing. I don't think this sort of mistake speaks well of a hotel. We had to walk back in, and the girl, instead of apologising for her mistake, essentially told us off for not reminding her what price we'd been told we would pay and barked at my husband to give her the credit card back so she could refund us the breakfast. I was definitely not impressed then. When I told her that between the air-con malarkey and the breakfast charge, the service could do with improving, she just said 'no problem', as if that's an adequate answer to that! What a bad person she came across as.
I would definitely not stay there again, especially when other hotels in Burgos are infinitely nicer, cheaper and better located.

Room Tip: Choose a room in another hotel, maybe?
