Really interesting place, well laid out and doesn't seem as busy as the number of people there. Tenerife is warm in October so its great just to chill and then swim between the little islands.

Safe for kids too

Can't say that I actually visited this attraction, but what I can say is that it looks/ed absolutely fabulous.
I could see the attraction, daily, from my hotel balcony, could walk out of my hotel and look over the wall to see the numerous (five - I think?) pools, the many sun-beds and parasols, and an attractive eating area and cafe.
The loungers were arranged tidily every day, and mattresses were laid thereon, the whole area having been previously swept and all rubbish removed.
I know that to spend the day, or part thereof, costs an entrance fee, but I gather that that would not be too taxing.
Certainly, from the numbers of families I could see daily, the attraction is indeed a great attraction!
Had it not been for the fact that my hotel featured a rooftop infinity pool, then I guess that my wife and I would have frequented Costa Martianez on an almost daily basis.

One of the best things Puerto de la Cruz has to offer, an exotic swimming complex incorporated in a park - a wonderful place to chill right next to the ocean, but away from the crashing waves. We love this place.

Spent a day here, lots of room and sun beds. Great value at only 5.50 euros for the day. Lots of different pools to try. Didn’t feel cramped.

This is a great place to chill and hang out and have a nice little dip in the massive pools!
There is always plenty of room. And for 5.50€ you can’t go wrong.

Food and drink served inside and well priced.

Also plenty of shade if you can’t handle the heat alday, but want to use this great pool.

What a place to pass the day away, we love the place, much better than Blackpool! A bit warmer too.

Brilliant.

Spent the day there today. A pleasant experience, but why pay 13.5 Euros for a day including a sun umbrella when you can enjoy peace and quiet at the pool in your hotel? OK but won't rush back.

Dear dave j,
Thank you for having taken the time to post your review on TripAdvisor.

You paid 13,5 euros for 2Pax and an umbrella. In addition to swimming pools, you are entering a complex cataloged as an Asset of Cultural Interest with many works of art and monuments by the artist César Manrique.

Well worth the 5.5 euros entry. Lovely environment.
Ideal with the beach being rocky. Very clean and lots of toilets and restaurants etc.

Cesar Manrique built this as a safe place to swim he also added some of his sculptures.
It is child friendly, has toilets, snack booths and an all you can eat buffet. The pools are lovely and clean umbrella hire was two euros in 2018 sunbeds are free and the entrance fee was 5.50 euro.
Plenty of space for every one and loved by the locals, there is always a queue before it opens but it is not crowded.
The large sea water fountain is the star of the show.
