We stayed for 2 nights in this small coastal hotel which is off the beaten track and best accessed by car. The location is fabulous with a reception/car park area linked to the hotel building by a short, moderately steep path. Cars are parked at reception and guests walk down to the hotel. There is an option of transportation by buggy down to the hotel building. This is especially useful for heavy luggage.
Our Junior Suite was spacious and comfortable with an ensuite bath/shower. Breakfast is good and the evening menu offers a choice of basic local fare and wine.
This is a hotel of character with a wonderful location and is well situated for exploring the north east region of Tenerife by car.

Room tip: A Junior Suite is good value and is next to the pool

A great stylish vintage inn without any Internet connection ( only at the reception area 200 metres from the main building). Crashing waves, amazingly decorated rooms and a fantastic bar cave. Recommended for 2-3 days stay to forget about everything.

This is a quiet location with a traditional, classy ambience. It’s a few minutes from Tejina and a convenient jumping-off point to explore the northeast of the island. You’ll need a car.
There was no aircon – fine in April but could be a problem in hotter seasons. The sea provided a constant background sound but we did not find it a problem.
There were wifi and mobile signals only at reception, not in the main hotel buildings which are down the slope towards the sea.
The breakfast cold buffet was good, albeit the coffee was not to our taste. Boiled eggs were offered some days. The dinner menu included some local items, some of which may be an acquired taste. Execution is fine but not sophisticated. Portions were generous – the lamb dish included 6 lamb chops! The daily 3-course 15-euro menu includes some items from the à la carte menu and is remarkable value. We thought the local wines were great. Service was very good.

Room tip: Junior Suite 110 has a sheltered terrace that catches the afternoon sun and is convenient for the jacuzzi, pool and sauna.

When we visited the weather was cold and miserable and there weren't many visitors. It has a fabulous location and views but you have to drive through cactus greenhouses to reach it so it is not particularly pleasant.
What really lets it down is the food - hardly anything we asked for on the menu was available, including wine! The food is bland and there was little atmosphere with there being so few guests.
Having said that, we had a beautiful room which would have been lovely had it been warm enough to sit out on the terrace. The bathroom could have been cleaner.

Room tip: We had a junior suite which had a wonderful view and terrace

This is a nice hotel for warm sunny weather. The facilities are good and the views of the ocean - spectacular. But it is definitely not good for 10 days in February during a damp, chilly and windy snap.
It is very isolated and very difficult to find. You can't go out in the evening for a stroll, or to a restaurant, as it is surrounded by derelict agri-industry which is not attractive. And, sadly, the food in the restaurant is mediocre at best. Breakfasts are limited and repetitive.
So, for a short stay, in summer it's ok, perhaps!
