All tables and bar was reserved but empty, no options was offered so we just left hungry. Place is very very small so not a lot of chances to eat here if you will not reserve ahead.

First of all, at this late afternoon when we visited "La Camorca" we were not the easiest guests one can imagine: After a long day at the Teide National Park we entered together with our 1 1/2 year old daughter hungrily the restaurant close to 6 pm when usually the restaurant closes for a small break. Additionally, as you probably can imagine a small child can be very demanding after a long day. However, we were welcomed very warmly and we felt like visiting the home of a good old friend and this feeling remained the whole evening! The restaurant is due to only four tables not that big, but exactly this makes it very cosy. Motivated by the "Lord of the rings", all of the restaurant and the menu is harmoniously decorated in brown and green with much love to every single detail. IMHO such things make a restaurant extraordinary.

Although we ordered starters, we were surprised by a nice little salmorejo, which started the feast ;). As starters, my wife had the La Comarca salad, a big fresh salad with yummy fish breads, while I took the Russian salad that was nicely arranged on a stone plate. Unfortunately, we ordered the wrong number, but this misunderstanding was solved fantastically by the waiter with jokes and not one bad word! Moreover, he was playing and kidding with our daughter the whole evening what she enjoyed a lot.

For the main dish we ordered the tuna filet and the salmon carpaccio. Both were amazing! You saw in every single dish and its decoration how much love was put into it by the chef. But the best thing was that it didn't only look extraordinary, it also tasted like that! For dessert and as main dish for our daughter we all enjoyed the very delicious homemade milk rice.

In summary, after 10 days on Tenerife we were absolutely surprised by these fantastic people and their beautiful restaurant and strongly recommend a visit of it. One day we will definitely come back! Muchas gracias para todos!

We live in the south of Tenerife and ones a month we go to La Laguna for some drinks, food and local flavour. Our March visit brought us to La Comarca, a little outside La Laguna in an area called San Bartolomé. It is a small tasca. The chef and the host work close together to perform on a high level. The host is from Tenerife and makes you feel welcome like at home. The chef is from Asturias and presented us some surprisingly good and refined dishes. Without hesitation I recommend this to food lovers. Make sure to have a reservation as the tasca is small!

Lovely little place just outside La Laguna (the only little problem: find the restaurant).
Very charming and nicely decorated venue, and the owners are happy to speak with their guests.
The food is excellent and made with ecological vegetables and fresh and local products. Fish, meat, vegetarian... there is something for everyone!
We strongly recommend it - and we will certainly go back on our next visit to the island!

Hidden in a small village on the outskirts of La Laguna (Tenerife Norte) we found this absolutely adorable small restaurant. It has four tables and they should be always full. So book in advance!
We tasted various dishes at this really refined restaurant. The chef made of each dish we had choosen 3 small portions,so we all could taste everything. It was wonderful and very delicate. The service was very personal with the chef closeby... We had one fo the most beautiful luncheons at La Comera I enjoyed in many years. great place for food lovers.
