We have never called a restaurant excellent before and this fully deserves this rating. We had booked two days before and this was needed for a busy Saturday night as the restaurant was full by 9pm.
We had a mix of the "normal" menu and tapas. Lovely fresh grilled gambas followed by calamar (squid) andulician style. The squid was so fresh and very lightly battered. "Simple" fish is the best. The small fish with padron peppers were equally fresh in a light tempura batter and were an equal pleasure complemented by a volcanic Malvasia dry white wine, barrel fermented. We rounded off our meal with a lemon sorbet served with champagne and mango jelly - really refreshing. Good coffee and a lovely grappa to finally finish.
Service was excellent with one waiter being so attentive despite serving every table (35 covers while we were there) - amazing.
If you are in Arrecife don't miss this restaurant for gourmet food and excellent service.
