Be aware that many comments mix the bar and the restaurant which are actually 2 completely different business managed by different people.
All the cool pics of the location are from the bar, yeap it is a great place. But if you go to the restaurant you will actual NOT eat in the middle of that great location but in classical (though very nice) restaurant room.
The restaurant was good, but not really better than many other offers in the area, and the service was a bit mixed as a waiter was great, and another waiter not great at all. So if you want to enjoy the location, go for a drink...but dont bother to eat there.

The setting is fantastic the service really good helpful and friendly, there was 4 of us meeting up in Lanzarote. We ordered our main courses, I had Duck breast, my wife had pork cheek the others had steak. We were served some warm breads which I must say tasted good, olive bread, tomato, onion etc. When the food arrived all served together each plate was a work of art see attached pictures, the sweets ordered also a work of art see more pics, finished with coffee. Very good meal but a little pricy I felt approx €38 each

Got here at 18:30, the museum is shut and the Restaurant opens at 19:00, but you can get a drink at the bar, wander around, and just enjoy the Cesar Manriqueness of it all before sitting down to eat.

The menu is a little limited in choice, but the choices are good, both properly Spanish and Tasty!

We sat outside and while we were there we could watch the sun's shadow creep up the cliffs as the doves roosted in the various crevices. By desert time, the stars had come out above us and shoulder blankets were offered to keep us warm.

Great food, in a unique atmosphere, and won't break the bank.

Dined with my husband at this beautiful restaurant. We are staying in Nazaret so had a very quick stroll down the road. We arrived a little early so we could enjoy a drink in the bar. The bar is absolutely spectacular. The staff speak a little English but an effort with Spanish is greatly appreciated. Oh and they only take cash. A rum and coke and gin and tonic came to €14 - they were large measures and living in London we thought this was pretty reasonable considering the captive market. We made our way down to the restaurant and were promptly greater by a friendly waiter who spoke excellent English. We were offered a choice of where to sit - we chose outside, as despite it being a bit chilly, the view was too good to miss! The menu comes in Spanish, English and German. We ordered the croquettes and prawn and melon salad to start. Both were outstanding but portions are on the large side so you may want to share as we saw other people doing. I had the lamb for main course which was beautifully slow cooked - it had a very rich taste so I think it may have been mutton but it was delicious all the same. My husband had the steak which was also delicious. We shared a very good bottle of red too. Unfortunately we were too full for dessert! The bill came to €80 (€30 of which was for the wine) which we felt was very good value. We enjoyed the meal so much we are going back later this week!
