Return visit after 6 months
Delicious prawn and crab started and tiger prawns tempura. We then shared a gigantic sirloin steak medium rare which was perfectly cooked and delicious. Sadly no room for desert but we shared a glass of 1987 Albans Pedro Ximenez desert wine which was perfection.

What can I say food is amazing at this restaurant, we have ate here before (September 16) and was so looking forward to this our second visit and we weren't disappointed. We started with a G&T in the bar following our walk into Portixol from Palma town, great gin choice, bar service was fabulous in a lovely bar area. We moved into the restaurant, lovely contemporary feel, great menu choice and wine list, I opted to start with red tai curry soup with prawns my husband went for the octopus with avacado, delicious, for mains we had salmon with coconut rice served with an amazing sauce and turbot with clams, we both opted for strawberry compote and sorbet, delicious. Service was first class to match the wonderful food.

The Portixol, exceed your expectations in so many ways, the rooms the setting the food the bar all totally reliable.BUT THE KINDNESS AND CARE OF THE STAFF LIFTS IT TO A DIFFERENT LEVEL,just spent a week with people who can't do enough for you magical.

Room Tip: overlook the ocean or the harbour

Went for a dinner with a group of 10 and the food was great. The fish was extremely fresh and the homemade raviolis were the best I have ever tasted. The only thing which should we changed is the carpet floor but other then that overall a nice restaurant to dine in summer and winter.

Our room looked over the harbour into the bay of Palma. Sandy beaches one side and Palma old town 15 mins stroll away. The level of service is superb and a special mention to Samba, Jonathan, Eduardo and Mariacella in the bar/restaurant. Ole.q

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view with balcony.
