This is a great place to stay. The room was really large, with a good sized balcony and a great view of the mountains. The bed was very comfortable, and the complimentary soft drinks on arrival very welcome. The reception staff were exceptionally friendly, and offered to book taxis and restaurants without even being asked. One nice touch, very small but very unusual, was that as we checked in they gave us a map of the city, and talked us through the sites, where to go to eat etc.. Saved me having to ask later..small touch, but nice. Great buffet breakfast, would be easy to put on a lot of weight ! The only thing stopping 5 stars was the bathroom. It was large and spotlessly clean, but felt a little tired'unlike the rest of the hotel which is great. Will definetly stay again.

Room Tip: Ask for the 8th or 9th floor at the front of the building....quiet, and great views

Stayed here for 5 nights. Central hotel within easy walking distance of cathedral, harbour etc. Plenty of choice for breakfast although tables crammed together. Terrace/bar very good and reasonably priced. Only downside is the dark corridors and weird art work (that's a personal opinion). Good value for a spring city break.

Room Tip: Worthwhile paying extra for balcony

Stayed here on a city break. It's in a good location with well appointed rooms and bathrooms - roomy with two wardrobes and a safe - cleaned daily. Staff helpful. We were on the top floor (9th) so had a good view over the surrounding area from the large balcony. We stayed on B&B basis and the breakfasts are served on a buffet basis. The choice was amazing and you couldn't fail to find something to suit no matter what your nationality and this is definitely a multinational hotel. The food was constantly replenished and tables were cleared quickly to cope with the influx of diners. We didn't eat at the hotel on an evening but the menu looked pretty good if a little expensive. It is located at the top of the renowned Jaime 111 Avenue which is home to all the designer shops. It is also right on the airport bus route and costs only 3 euros per person (it is shown as stop 18 on your ticket BUT the stand number definitely said stop 20!!) .
Would I stay here again? - definitely but without the rain next time!!

The dining room is too l for the number of guests you have staying. Each morning we struggled to find a table for our family of 3 and some staff were reluctant to clean tables when we asked them too. Also there were never any clean knives so most mornings we had to go and ask for clean cutlery. Whilst the food selection was very good and always fresh the breakfast experience each day was a disappointment.
