The hotel is situated near the old centre of Vitoria and has its own restaurant. The receptionist was very helpful and explained everything including where to go and how to walk to the centre. The room was clean, tidy and adequate for the price. The Wifi was good and the restaurant was good. We enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it. Parking is in the underground parking opposite but you can park outside for a few minutes to unpack.

Room Tip: Not facing the bins as it can be noisy.

Simple, but more than adequate, good quality hotel on the edge of the old town. Friendly and helpful staff. Hard to find on Sat-Nav - local paid parking or staff can recommend free parking within walking distance.

Room Tip: Third floor was better.

Stayed for 1 night in a Double Room with Private Bathroom. The bedroom was a good size with the bed itself very comfortable, the shower in the bathroom was really nice. The wifi wasn't the greatest, had to go out on the corridor to get it to work at times, not sure if that's because we was up on the 3rd floor and away from the router but as we were only there 1 night it wasn't too much of an issue.

We arrived into Vitoria-Gasteiz main bus station and walked from there which was around a 20-25 minutes walk to the hotel. The city centre and old town where most of the attractions are based are all within a reasonable walking distance. We was in Vitoria Gasteiz for a basketball game at the Fernando Buesa Arena, which took around 20 minutes by bus to get too from a bus stop 5 minutes away from Desiderio. The Mendizorrotza Stadium (Home of football team Deportivo Alaves) was around a 25-30 minutes comfortable walk as well.

Overall, we'd recommend Hotel Desiderio and would stay there again if we was to return to Vitoria-Gasteiz!

The hotel is quite old but it is very well located, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful and the room was clean. It was perfect for us as we stayed mostly outside and only stayed there for sleep. It is in a quiet street and close to a shopping area with bars to have breakfast. We have come back two times more and will go back again when we return to the city in the future.

A clean hotel, close to all interesting places in the city. The rooms are spacious and clean as well. Good internet connection. The staff was very helpful; I forgot there the battery rechargers for our cameras and phones, and the staff sent them to us very promptly. Many thanks!
