This hotel is let down by the terrible, unfriendly staff. We managed to complete the check in process without a single 'hello' or even a smile. On passing reception several times, not a single staff member made eye contact or said 'hola' during our whole stay. This is, quite frankly, the most unfriendly hotel I have ever stayed in and the management need to think carefully about how their staff are trained.

This was a good hotel but lacked the hot water jug in the room. We normally like to drink cups of tea as soon as we get up early in the morning. The staff were nice and courteous. And helpful. I liked it overall.

We stayed at Hotel San Sebastián for 6 nights. The rooms are quite large by European standards with plenty of room to move around without running into each other.

The king bed was two twins, made separately, pushed together. Again, not unusual for Europe. The bathroom was large and appeared recently renovated.

The hotel is on a fairly busy road, but we had no street noise with the windows closed.

Breakfast is included in the morning and there is a restaurant attached for convenience.

The hotel is quite close to the university, however is a 25 minute walk to the Old Town. The walk is along the beach the entire way so we did not mind, but did take a taxi in the evening after pintxos and vino.

The reception speed dail is spoilt and it keep getting dialed to another guest room, I had to go down reception multiple times to request for stuff. They say will fix it but second day stay it is not fixed.

Sound proof is bad, can hear whatever the next door are talking about literately

The shower will turn suddenly cold to suddenly hot and tried to call reception but as usual it get dialed to another guest room.

Room service staff does not speak English, so I had to make a trip downstairs every time I need something.

The room quality is really bad, definitely not worth a 4 star.

Attacked a picture of the moldy phone btw
