I am from Bilbao, although I haven't lived there for many years. However, every time I am back I try to pay a visit to USB. I also like to bring my foreign friends there. As it has been said before, it combines modernity and tradition. The first referring to the deco and set-up, the second one to the concept of the restautrant and the selection of food. I am a professional of hospitality myself and I believe this place is a good example of Basque hospitality. Half-way between "pintxos" and fine-dining, it is a proper place for what we call "picoteo" with an excellent selection of cured meats and wines. The location is ideal if you want to do a "pub crawl" Basque style, as it is in Indautxu, one of the hearts of the city for social life.
