We picked this apartment as we were 3 couples who wanted a long weekend break. The total price offered good value when comparing it to 3 hotel rooms and we felt it may be more authentic. We weren’t disappointed. This apartment has 3 ensuite bedrooms giving us both convenience and privacy.
The location was fabulous. We were directly opposite the main cathedral and the small road leading up to it was filled with lots of lovely well priced restaurants.
Roberto the agent organised our transfer to and from the airport which was extremely efficient. Upon arrival at the apartment we were met by a representative who showed us around the apartment and had maps for us. He sat with us for a while pointing out all the local high spots and restaurants.
The apartment was spacious and airy. It was just as the pictures. The kitchen was well equipped. We ate out all the time only using the kitchen for morning coffee etc. The local restaurants despite being in near main cathedral were so reasonable. The apartment had WiFi. The only slight criticism was the showers which wasn’t very powerful and some bathrooms struggled if we were all using them at the same time only producing a drizzle. We soon sussed this and It wasn’t a problem once we introduced a shower rota - after all what could we expect when the building was steeped in history. In fact the small square where it was located was a tourist attraction. It was in a convenient location and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who wants to be in the very heart of Seville.
This apartment is in a fantastic location, only a few hundred metres from the cathedral and the Alcazar, but off a hidden plaza that has orange trees in it. The smell of orange blossom in April was gorgeous. The apartment is very spacious in a lovely building. It had everything we needed and was nicely furnished. There are many great restaurants within easy walking distance. Worth noting is that church bells ring throughout the night, but they did not disturb us.
We were 5 adults visiting Seville for 3 days in the winter. The apartment is located in a small plaza at the end of a short alley directly off the Cathedral square. Taxis stop right at the end of the alley. You will not find a better location for visiting Seville's many and beautiful sites. All bedrooms were spacious and beds comfortable with more than enough storage. 2 of the bedrooms overlook a small square with orange trees. The apartment is austere in decoration but has all required facilities and furnishings are comfortable. The thick walls retain heat in winter and keep cool in summer but the apartment has air conditioning if needed - we did not need to use in January. Each bedroom has a modern ensuite with shower (one has bath with shower over). The kitchen is well designed with a good size fridge-freezer, microwave, hob etc. Reasonably well equipped cutlery, plenty of crockery (though some chipped). Pots and pans are adequate but you may struggle if cooking a more complex meal for a larger group. Good wifi connection. Francisco, the owner, recommended a few tapas bars which we tried and found La Bodega off Plaza de Alfalfa excellent, though there are also many eating places right on the doorstep. The apartment is more solid comfort than pampered luxury, but it so well located that I believe you will struggle to find a better place to explore Seville's wonderful centre. The nearest decent supermarket is 5 minutes but take a street map - the old streets are a real labryinth! Note: the Tourist Information Office is just around the corner on the Cathedral Square - they have street maps.
