The old part of this city is a real maze so having something located on the edge makes it easy to get to without getting lost It is also walking distance to the airport bus stop and the bus station. The windows open onto a street with many (excellent) bars and restaurants so don't expect things to get quiet early in the evening. The staff is friendly and helpful; they speak reasonably good English. There was free WiFi in the lobby. They offered discounts to local entertainment but weren't pushy about it. The decor is kitsch and fussy (think how your 98 year old Aunt would decorate it) but it is clean. We spent three nights here in the winter; the heater could just barely warm us up at night.

Very nice hotel, the staff is very nice, they speak English and solve promptly any wish.
The rooms with a street view are loud because the restaurants close after midnight. If they have available rooms, you can ask for a quiet room.

Lots of tourist noise from the street. Right above a fish-fry restaurant that smells 18 hours a day.
We found the manager rather anxious to sell us the hotels "discount" entertainment.
All in all, the worst place we stayed in Spain over more than three weeks of travel.

Spent three nights (room only) in Seville at this lovely little hotel where Mariano on the front desk was very helpful. He mentioned local entertainment but did not push it; he gave clear directions in English to all the walkable main tourist attractions. Had a problem with the very hard mattress and we were given room keys to select a more suitable bed. Hotel is spotlessly clean. Food is not an option but there are many excellent restaurants nearby. Recommend Vinaria tapas in the street back-to-back with the hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms with balconies can be noisy in the morning. There are 'internal' rooms which are quieter.

Managers agressively steered us toward entertainment that paid them a commission. Tiny room and bathroom falsely said to be soundproof. Do not believe this claim. Breakfast claim misleading - have to go next door for a continental breakfast which is actually an oily sandwich with meat in it.

We booked this hotel after reading that it was noisy on trip advisor and to ask for a quiet room. We emailed the hotel asking for a quiet room and information about booking tickets to a Flamenco festival on at the time of our visit. The manager took it upon himself to call me at home in Australia and discourage me from going to the flamenco show I wanted to attend by telling me it was far away from town and no good. He also said that they had perfect soundproofing with extremely thick glass on their windows. I believed him and we made plans to see another flamenco show. When we arrived, we asked them to book it for us and two members of staff agressivley tried to force us into one of the several shows they have affiliations with. We were not interested, they booked the one we wanted and the manager then approached us and told us it would be terrible and not worth our time and that he knew everything about Flamenco so we should listen to him. The show we went to was at the Flamenco Museum which is run by one of the best and most notable flamenco dancers there is. It was a great show.
Furthermore, the room was absolutely not sound proof. The sounds of the street were dulled by the glass windows but by no means was it eliminated. We could still here music, traffic sounds and people talking and shouting on the sreet.
Overall - a poor experience!

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back - don't accept their explanation about sound proof glass, only a room at the back would be quiet.

This Manager is not engaged in persecuting anyone to sell any ticket of any kind. We will not make phone calls to Australia for a person to change his mind to see any flamenco show, because this phone call would be much more expensive than any commission we might have on any ticket. There is no flamenco festival in Seville in November, either in October or December.
We love the Flamenco Museum, in which we keep a friendly relationship and we also sell its tickets.
We serve a continental breakfast, in which we serve toast with acorn Iberian ham, which costs 60 per kilogram, and is not a piece of fatty meat.
The composition of our continental breakfast is on our website and anyone can know it before coming to our hotel and ask for it or not, as desired. We also inform about the price and the place where we serve breakfast.
Our rooms are soundproofed, although it is true that to eliminate 100% sounds is absolutely impossible, but we are exactly where everybody wants to be, just in the heart of the historical site of Seville.
And for the information of everybody we inform that we do not have rooms at the back as this review advise.
After reading all the reviews of "akf89" it is impossible to always have so bad luck, especially using the tripadvisor reviews, and only one is good, but in this review they were coming from having a car accident, what can I say?.
Unfortunately this review has been written by someone with malicious intent and with little knowledge of our hotel and the Spanish culture.
