“Great Location but Practical Problems”
Reviewed 21 July 2018 for a stay in July 2018

No doubt about it, the location of this apartment is absolutely unbeatable -- right in the heart of Seville and within easy walking distance of almost all the major attractions. In addition, the private terrace (note: there is only one private terrace, not two as was claimed in the description) is a magical advantage. We spent many happy hours there during the week of our rental. Also pluses: the clothes washer works quickly and the big screen TV can be viewed from a comfortable sofa.
That said, I can only give the apartment 3 stars for practical reasons. As one previous reviewer said, it's "quirky." For example, the (small) second bathroom is rather awkwardly behind the kitchen on the top floor. More important, it takes 52 rather tricky steps to reach that top floor where the main living quarters are located. There is a small elevator, but the owner refuses to allow his guests to use it except to bring their luggage in when they arrive and then to take it down when they leave (he keeps the key necessary to open the elevator door). We found the shallow marble spiral steps a real complication, especially as the bedrooms are 12 narrow steps down from the top floor.
Then there's the tiny kitchen which is stuffed with all manner of devices -- stove top, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge, clothes washer -- but absolutely lacks those things that make it easy to cook beyond boiling a pot of pasta. There is room for only one plate at a time on the counter. There's almost no cupboard space for storing food. There were no basic kitchen tools -- I had to purchase a spatula in order to flip my fried eggs. There were not even any oven mitts for pulling a pizza from the oven. And the coffee maker was fit only for two.
We had the impression that the owner (whom we never met – he seems to be the owner of several properties and has at least two employees to handle the intake and checkout) really preferred his guests not to use the kitchen but to go out for meals. There were also rather terse, unwelcoming notices about turning off air conditioning and lights or risking a fine for abuse.
Still, if you don’t really want to cook and if you don't mind the stairs, then you’re quite likely to love this place.

“Unusual apartment in a great location”

We stayed here with our two university-age children for four nights and it was ideal for exploring wonderful Seville. Everything is in walking distance - the cathedral and Alcazar, the Santa Cruz district and the riverside, all of them reached through the maze of central Seville's old streets.
The apartment is in on a busy square and opposite the Salvador Cathedral. This is Seville's second largest church and its worth buying a double ticket here, where there is little or no queue, that will also get you into the main Cathedral and allow you stroll straight past the massive queues there.
There are loads of tapas bars all around, as well as a handy supermarket, chemist and so forth.
As for the apartment itself, it is quite quirky (in a good way) with lots of stairs and great little balcony overlooking the square.
Essentially, after entering from the square, you walk up to the second floor, where there is a small landing with a twin room and then a double room with a good ensuite bathroom. On the next floor up is a kitchen/lounge with another bathroom off it. French doors lead on to the terrace where are tables and chairs. The kitchen could do with a few more utensils but otherwise the apartment was well-equipped and very clean. The air-con was very effective in the summer heat.
The owner Francisco met us on arrival and gave us a few tips on where to eat and so on.
Highly recommended, if you don't mind a few stairs.

“Nothing Better than Seville Evenings on this Terrace”

Nothing beats the view from the terrace or the location in the heart of Seville. Beds are comfy, very nice host. This place needs a small amount of maintenance/updates, but is a wonderful base for a vacation. We concur with the reviewer who recommended El Commercio bar for breakfast. There is also a SuperSol grocery close by. Not recommended for the less-than-agile traveler due to steep and slippery stairs.

“Awesome place, great location”
Reviewed 26 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

The view and location are great. Easy walk to the great attractions in Seville. Stayed here with our 3 teenage boys and we had a blast. Easy to find, the staff greeted us there at 20:30 on a Sunday night with nothing but a smile. Needed towels the next morning and they brought them within 30 minutes. Can;t say enough great things about the apartment, the view, the location and the service
