“Elegant, atmospheric”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 May 2012

Elegant, atmospheric and fascinating. Old town houses in the center of the city (5 minute walk to the Giralda) with tile-decorated rooms and lounges, free computer access and roof-top facilities with great views. A maze of delightful spaces; everywhere you turn is something interesting to look at. The staff (family, I believe) is particularly helpful.

Lovely, relaxing gem in the Barrio Santa Cruz. Music, flowers, help-yourself-sherry and a dynamite roof-top terrace - with spa and bar - made this hotel the best in our 12 days in Spain.

Elegant but homely, we found this family run hotel to be quiet but also very close to the Real Alcazar and cathedral. We had a superior room with a very comfortable and large bed. The room and the bathroom were well decorated and spacious. The tiny wardrobe may well have been an issue for a longer stay. We enjoyed sitting on the roof top terrace taking in the views and the sunshine. We tried the hotel breakfast on the first morning, it was ok but nothing special and there are many cafes offering lots of choice nearby. For a delicious evening meal and friendly sevice, I can highly recommend La Vineria De San Telmo. For things to do, we particularly enjoyed a river cruise, the Real Alcazar, the Plaza de Espana and the Parque de Maria Luisa, the Casa de la Pilatos and the brilliant views from the top of the parasol at the Plaza de Encarnacion. My most lasting memories, however, will be the scent of orange blossom lingering on the warm afternoon air and the Flamenco at Casa de la Memoria.

A beautifully furnished, elegant hotel, very quietly situated yet within a stone's throw of the cathedral and Real Alcazar. The roof terrace is stunning and we'd certainly have tried the jacuzzi there had the weather been warmer. We reserved a standard room (quite expensive in April , the high season) which we found to be rather small and dark with no proper surfaces/shelves to put clothes/books etc.
There are lots of places nearby to eat and drink -wonderful croissants and coffee in a woodpanelled cafe a few doors along and the bar "Carmela" does great tapas and mojitos. If you want a change from the main tourist sites I thoroughly recommend the beautiful Casa de la Condesa Lebrijia, very close to the main shopping street Calle Sierpe

Beautiful hotel, great beds, lovely roof terrace in what we considered to be the best location in Seville. Staff couldn't do enough to help. Would definately return.
