“Great rooms, reasonable location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 March 2012

The rooms are great - modern and clean, with excellent beds. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to the Cathedral area. Only hitch is the very poor wifi connection.

This a good hotel, if not just a little far from the old town center, if you go in summer the heat can be a problem walking into the town. The pool is great.

Visited this hotel for a city break with a friend. Loved Seville and this hotel was perfect, central location - short walk into the centre where all the tapas bars and sights were, lots of little cafes to eat very near by due to the hotel's proximity to the university. Our room was lovely, well furnished, great bathroom and balcony over looking the pool. Would strongly recommend this hotel, modern, clean, friendly staff and most importantly the pool... it was scorchio when we were in Seville (early september) so spent the end of our days by the pool with a couple of cocktails to cool off after a day's sightseeing - was perfect. Also the Seville sighseeing bus stop is only about 2 mins along the road, so very handy for this tour.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in September. We arrived by car and parked in the underground garage beneath the hotel. We booked The Level service and had a great experience at check-in.The rooms were great, very modern and chic,we had a fantastic view.
It was a short walk to the old town from the hotel. We had breakfast included in the room rate and it was very good.
The staff at the Level were very helpfull with any directions we needed. The city was nice for 2 days but that's it....we get bored easily.
Like everybody else has said...the hotel is nothing to look at from the outside, however it is very nice inside.
I rate this hotel as follows:
Rooms: 9/10
Staff:9/10
Location:8/10
Amenities 8/10
Food 8/10

Book this hotel already,you won't be disappointed !!! We weren't .

Room Tip: Book the level service for a nice suite!

When you look at the hotel from the outside, you just wonder what you are doing here. The facade of the building is crrepy. White old paint, old look building, you wonder what you're going to find inside.
I had a Melia Room, th cheap one. King bed is a real King. The bathroom has a seperate bath and tub, and is very modern. The whole design of the room is modern, by the way.
The internet is free, but as stated in other review, kind of slow and unstable.
My only complaint is the facade, as said before, and also the windows, which are plain old windows. As I was exhausted by a walking day in Sevilla I had no problem falling asleep, but I guess that if you're sensitive from street noise, this is not a good hotel option.
I paid 80 euros for the room, as a january sale. I think this was a real deal for the quality of the hotel.
The location is great, just across Plaza de Espña. If you go on the corner of Avenida Portugal and Avenida el Cid (two minutes walk from the hotel), there's a small coffee / tapas bar named Citroen, which is cheap and which staff is most friendly. Tapas and drinks are genuine spanish!
