“Central Seville and superb service”
Reviewed 16 June 2012

I recently stayed at Hotel Becquer on a 5 day trip to Seville with my mum and my 2 year old son. From the moment we stepped out of the taxi nothing was two much trouble for the staff at the hotel. We had a fair amount of luggage and additional requests for cot/high chair etc. The staff at reception and in the restaurant were always obliging and friendly. Our luggage was taken to our room and a cot was availble in our room automatically - we had previously stayed at a 5* rated hotel elsewhere in Spain where this hadn't happened. While not a particularly boutique hotel in style or feel it is very clean and has all the facilities you need for a really comfortable base in Seville. Having access to the pool was fantasic and while it was hot in early June i would imagine this would be extremely welcome in the height of Summer - it can get a little bit busy on the roof top - view of the cathedral is pretty special. Breakfasts were also ample - choice of everything from a continental spread - excellent value really. The room was actually bigger than it looked on the photos, decent linen and spotless bathroom. Given the fantastic location of the hotel its unlikely you'll be spending much time in your room anyway. Apart from decor being a little dated I couldn't really fault this hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone visting Seville. Service and location - outstanding!

We stayed four nights (June 2012) at this hotel. We reserved a superior room with breakfast which we felt was worth the additional money. The room was very large (with two large windows), as was the bathroom. The room was very clean and the airconditioning worked very well. The location is just a short walk to any of the city sites and a non-issue. The breakfast was good and provided a number of choices depending upon your likes/dislikes. The rooftop pool is small, but clean and offers great views of the city. We found the staff to be friendly and always helpful. This was a wonderful city to visit and I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel on a room only basis and were extremely impressed. The room was lovely with superb air conditioning. As the temperature outside was, at times, over 40 degrees, this was essential! The rooftop swimming pool was small, but a real delight. Great views over the city. The location was so convenient: 10 minutes' walk from the cathedral with many good tapas bars within easy reach.
A great stay in a lovely hotel. We could not fault it!

Needed something central for 1 night. This hotel is perfect, not too close to the cathedral but a great little walk to it through cobbled streets. Hotel was great.room was spacious and very large bathroom with a walk in shower.staff very friendly. HOWEVER, the roof pool has fantastic views of the city but is very small and don't be surprised to find no room to sit down or swim. The Internet was also very very slow but not a problem.i really recommend staying here, you won't be disappointed at all
