“Silken Al Andalus Gracias”
Reviewed 7 June 2012

If you are visiting Seville, stay at this hotel, it has absolutely everything for a memorable stay.
It is just outside of the centre, but has the most magnificient pool for relaxing after a morning in town, shopping/sighseeing. We have stayed here so many times and it never lets you down. Everything about this place is just perfect. The staff are so friendly, it has a great atmosphere and I cannot find a single thing wrong, if you go you will not be dissappointed

Room Tip: Swiiming Pool View rooms are worth the extra €10

Staff were not friendly.
Gym facilities were rubbish.
You have to pay for EVERYTHING (i.e. sauna, towels for swimming pool, etc.)
Wi-fi did not work in all of the rooms.
Overall, the hotel does not deserve four stars. Was really disappointed.

great hotel, book the cheapest room you can, then upgrade to a room with a terrace on arrival, this will let you buy breakfast for ten euro per day (usully 14), give you access to an executive club room which has snacks, coffee and computers for your use, also gives you a late check out until 4pm. bed was a bit hard for me so they provided extra pillows to sleep on. no in room coffee making facilities but used the executive room. pool area was nice and relaxing, plenty of shade, a towel costs one euro but comes with a bottle of water, pool not heated but fine once you are in. the buffet breakfast was amazing, open from seven until eleven, no complaints about this hotel. will stay there again.

Room Tip: upgrade to a terrace room, gave late check out, executive club access and a discount on breakfast.

Good value if you're attending a one week conference and you're into swimming.
Very poor wifi.
All the rest a bit above average.

We stayed here for 8 Nights in May 2012. We had a great club room which was spacious, huge bathroom with twin sinks, walk in shower and a bath, all of which were spotlessly clean. Wonderful breakfasts which were included in our rate, great pool, pool bar and lovely grounds. Drinks and restuarant prices were very reasonble and less than we were expecting. Staff were all polite and friendly and after a few days started to recognise us and made us feel very welcome, my wife and I travel a lot and have stayed in many hotels, this one was in our opinion very very good. This is a conference hotel and you should expect to see a lot of groups coming and going but this in no way spoiled our stay as leisure guests. The hotel surroundings are a mixed bag, a huge football stadium a few streets away, a university campus the other way but never any noise whilst we were there and overall a safe and reasonably nice area. A few bars and a supermarket are within walking distance. You are about 4 km from the centre of Seville but a very regular bus from outside the hotel takes 5 minutes to get to the centre for 1.50euros, we used taxis a lot when going into Seville at night and these were never more the 8 - 9 euros each way including a small tip. Although we had a hire car for day trips we never took it into Seville, street parking is strictly local and the public car parks can be more expensive than taxis. Seville itself is wonderful, very friendly and safe feeling city, fantastic sites, great shopping, great bars and restuarants. BRILLIANT!

Room Tip: Upgrade to a club room if you can, the one we had was great.
