Stayed for a few days in May 2010 and it was allright. Got a rather dark room, small window and no balcony, but everything was nice and clean. They have a beautiful pool garden which was the main attraction, though they didn´t have enough sun loungers for everyone. Breakfast was good, dinner was okey... but if I return to Seville I will probably pick a hotel closer to the town center. All in all, it was pretty much as expected after having read reviews on TA, so no surprises there.

Everything were good except the third bed was terrible I don't recommend take this hotel for three persons and the other thing when I mad a reservation it says in the website parking free, In fact,it wasn't free of charge. The credibility of the hotel isn't good, I can't trust about them.

Room Tip: take a room with balcony and don't take with three persons room.

This hotel resembles a convention center. It is 7 kms from downtown and its sites. Rooms were well appointed. A/C was not working/cooling rm as i would have expected. I believe the property adjust the a/c according to season. I was HOT! Take the bus downtown for 1.30 Euro. Wifi was useless at this property, they have 2 separate networks and both signals were extremely poor.

Stayed five nights at this hotel which is situated a couple of miles from the historic centre of Seville. The hotel is very big with over 600 rooms but is well equipped and caters for all needs. The breakfast is particularly good with a wide choice of hot and old food with lots of fruit and pastries.

The rooms are very clean and spacious. The staff are very helpful and friendly and are able to offer advice on where to get buses to take you into the centre. Taxis are outside the hotel and cost 6 euros into town.

Large comfortable Hotel with good and attentive staff. Wonderful buffet as previously described but unlike others comments regarding the rest of the hotel catering we managed to get two nights fine dining in the "Palace Restaurant" where they offered starters at €9 mains at €15 and deserts at €5. We are both in our mid seventies and our appetites are small so we confined ourselves to a starter and desert both of ample proportions and as extras we were given a small 'Amuse Bouche' before the starter arrived and a free liqueur at the end accompanied with a chocolate each. The wine and drinks in general are expensive we had half a bottle of a nice red Rioja which cost €9. We dined across the road at a Pizzaria the following night and had a FULL bottle for the same price, I recommend this place it is across the six lane road (to the right as you leave the hotel) just where the lights are it is called Al Gusto and there is a Panadaria (bread shop) next door that also sells alcohol a lot cheaper than the hotel.
The biggest bugbear with the Al-Andalus is its position as there are very few shops or bars close by the nearest being down the side street near the Pizzaria. However the saving grace is the 34 bus (out of the hotel turn left walk to end of road, turn right and bus stop there) For€1:30 (2012 price ) per person, you can get into the heart of Seville near the Plaza Espana.
Cross the road to the left and walk down the long street with an old building on on the left and lots of bars and restaurants on the right. This takes you to the place where you can visit all the old and interesting places.
Back to the hotel now and apart from the Palace restaurant we found only one other (the cafeteria) opened for food and their prices were so gross we never tried them. The gardens looked lovely and would be wonderful in the summer, however we went at the beginning of Spring and most places were shut. Another downside is very few rooms appear to have balconies and those that do are expensive. The TV was OK but offered only BBC World Service, Sky News and CNN in English and all were news programmes although the German TV service catered for a variety of programmes. There was an excellent safe, very secure, and a mini bar in the room, the m/bar prices were extortionate. The beds were firm but very comfortable and we slept well every night as the hotel was very quiet. We only had one complaint and that was our room was not tidied on the Sunday until 4:30 pm, just after we had got wearily back from a long trudge and were settling down of a Siesta. The bathroom was OK, but not what I consider 4 star and the toiletries were weird, with after shave, but no shampoo, bath gel, soap, a small sponge and a comb amongst them.
However all in all we had a lovely stay and were generally well looked after by very pleasant staff
