“some things fabulous, others...”

I have stayed twice in Las Casas in the last year. Each time, the building, the location has been fabulous. Bar service, fabulous. Decor, fabulous.

However, don't bother with breakfast. For us, it was a Fawlty Towers experience. People shouting at each other in the kitchens (and they know how to shout in Spain), slow service, sneering at my daughter's attempts to speak in Spanish...not a four star experience.

Stay in the htel, but eat breakfast across the road in one of the excellent cafes!

Room Tip: higher floors have less noise

A fascinating old building, a bit like arabbit warren originally a "safe" home for Jewish people in Seville but all modern facilities in rooms.Bedroom windows looked onto lovely courtyard.Buffet breakfast served in converted stables was excellent.Rooftop unheated pool and sunbathing area with wonderful views over the old town was a perfect spot to relax at the end of theday.

We had a 3 day stopover in Seville, staying at Las Casas de Juderia, and had an absolute ball. Seville was fantastic, and the Casas was a great place to stay. Close to the centre of things, and a real haven of peace & quite, even if once you stepped out the door there was traffic & people everywhere.
We had a ground-floor room just off the main courtyard - ideal location, & even had workable wi-fi in the room - even if most other rooms didn't judging by the iPads & laptops in the piano bar & courtyard. Room access (& bag access) was good - though judging by the grumbles from a large party of elderly Americans in at the same time, the rabbit-warren-like layout wasn't to everyone's taste.
Room was big with plenty of room to spread out - a/c worked fine & it was a cool haven to come back to after the steamy days wandering around in the heat of Seville's summer.
Staff were fine, though the bar staff in the piano bar could do with a bit of training in how to smile occasionally.
All in all, a memorable stay in a great hotel in a great city.

Casa de La Juderia is great old palace that is hosting some of the best room in Seville. It is located in the center of Seville in the heart of the old city.

You could easily get lost at first finding your room because you have to know that this is not a hotel that was build to the latest standards.

those who are looking for the amenities and the luxury of a 5* hotel they should look elsewhere.

We haven't had the chance to try the cuisine or the breakfast as Seville is full of tapas bars and good restaurants.

A bit of a labyrinth, each time one gets lost one happens upon another secret courtyard or fountain, the Casa de La Juderia is an amazing old Palacio, actually, a half-dozen which have been strung together, decorated with fine Azulejos (Spanish Tiles), antique furniture, and a half-dozen traditionally furnished sitting rooms.
The staff is extremely knowledgable, helpful without being servile, and discrete.
I am something of a difficult client, and I would be hard pressed to find a better hotel. In terms of quality for money, it is unmatched. This is my second stay, and certainly not my last!
