We recently stayed at Las Tres Terrazas for 3 nights. I chose this B&B in large part because of the view of the Alhambra and Sierra Nevada from either of the 2 bedrooms. The reviewers' photos accurately reflected the breathtaking view. Our room also looked down on lovely yards with singing birds. We couldn't believe we had such a perfect place for exploring Granada where each morning we had a light breakfast of fresh bread and croissants, Rene's homemade jam, and coffee.
Rene was helpful, walking us through the neighborhood, reserving tickets for flamenco and recommending we sit in the front row, explaining how to walk to the Roma caves, and arranging a taxi to take us to the train station. He went above and beyond by taking the time to help my husband make an emergency call to our U.S. bank with our new cellphone. What a relief to have his help!
Our room was bright and clean with good storage for hanging clothes and a man-sized bathtub in a good-sized bathroom. Each room has a small balcony, but there is also a large terrace upstairs that provides a sweeping view of the Alhambra and the mountains.
Rene also referred us to dinner at the restaurant next door, Carmen de Aben Humeya. We have never eaten at the same place 3 nights in any city but we did here. Not only was the food fabulous, the waitresses were friendly and spoke English well, and the picture windows provided a perfect view across the valley to the Alhambra.
We can't recommend this B&B more highly if you're into a view, charm, a quiet setting, and a helpful proprietor.
