Loved this hotel perfect location and absolutely spotlessly clean , very good choice of food something to please everyone's taste , all staff friendly and very professional, entertainment good if that's your thing , the only drawback was the lack of sunbeds took us two days before we could get one ,unless you get up at 7 and reserve one looked out one morning and saw one man reserve 9 ,yes they do put notes on beds but people just go round taking them off , also while the two lifeguards go round putting notes one who is looking at the pool to ensure everyone is safe ? , Would love to come again as it's such a good hotel but wouldn't as we do like to be able to sit by the pool without all the trouble of having to wait for a bed , such a shame

This hotel is ideally situated for everything we want to do on holiday. The staff are outstandingly friendly and helpful and the bedrooms amd public areas within the hotel are really clean and well cared for. The beach is just across the road from the hotel and there are loads of cafes, bars, and a variety of shops nearby. The town centre is within easy reach where you catch a train or bus to lots of local areas. We have been coming here frequently since 2012 and is like coming to s second home now.

We stayed at the Don Pablo during July 2022. We mainly selected this hotel based on its location to the beachfront and the ability to share hotel resources with the Don Marco and Don Pedro resort ( technically one massive resort spilt into 3 ). Check in was swift although their systems were down when we arrived. Instructions were clear. Yes we’re provided with towel tokens for stay which was half board.

The hotel is clean and modern. There are around 7/8 pools not huge but not too small. Sun beds were at maximum have so finding them was harder the later you arrived. Location to beach was excellent. Beach was nice and plenty of bars , shops and beach services to enjoy.

Breakfast was normal AI style same choices every day - same went for dinner. Plenty to choose from but could get a bit similar for longer stays. Drinks for Dinner are extra for HB. Choice of indoor and outdoor seating.

Staff were present no real issues. Room cleaned daily. Our view was to the rear of the hotel - not so great. Ocean view would have been better. Evening Entertainment was on - we only Popped out head in but it was well attended.

I would say this is a perfect family hotel. There is a adult pool but it was still busy and had kids. There was some pool maintenance work being carried out which meant the pool we were at was shut for half the day.

Good points - Close to the airport. Supermarket on site.
Bad points - No free parking. Hotel car park was £22 a day ! We managed to park for free in the road but this take a while to find a feee spot. Health spa services are extra and £1 for each fresh towels change.

Room tip: Parking is expensive Rear rooms have no real views to Get excited about. Standard room is good for 2 people , tight for 3

Just returned from a week at Don Pablo. Lovely hotel right opposite beach. Staff work so very hard to keep everything running smoothly. Our room was very clean, modern and spacious. Wonderful comfy beds. Cleaned every day to a high standard, towels and sheets changed every couple of days. We had half board and breakfast and dinner were both wonderful. Plenty of choice at both, lovely fresh fish and roast meats at dinner. Hotel was very busy but we managed to get sunbed when we wanted, we're not early risers and don't leave towels down all day and not use the bed. There were staff going around putting notes on beds which had been unoccupied for some time, I think they gave about an hour or so to return or your stuff would be moved. Pretty fair really considering it was very busy. We used beach a few days, 12 euros for 2 beds and umbrella. Beds were super comfy with a big thick and very clean mattress on each. Beach is lovely but slightly shingly on water's edge so a bit spiky on the old tootsies. It shelves quite quickly too, you're soon in deep water which was surprisingly very cold, fine for adults who are good swimmers but children would definitely need to be accompanied.
No problems giving this hotel 5 stars on all counts, loads of places to sit both inside and out, nice pool bar serving food at lunchtime. There is entertainment at night if that's your thing but it's an easy (uphill) stroll upto the old Town which is quite lively, or along the front, everything is close by. Lovely resort and hotel and we would definitely book again.

Current resident. Awaiting response from management after “I’ll tell my colleague” was all I got when trying to raise the complaint

If you like spending 2.5k for your kids to be excluded by what I can only presume is a racist member of the bar team then this is the place for you!!!

After the mini disco last night all the kids were offered crisps and drinks. First 20ish kids all get their crisps and drinks no problem. My English 4 year old son and his 6 year old Swedish friend attempted to get theirs only to be shooed away by the member of the bar team.

After investigating she claimed she shooed them away because they were coming back for me. Not quite sure how she thinks that given they were patiently at the back of a group of chaotic Spanish kids that she gleefully dished out freebies to. Apparently the answer is not to wait politely because you’ll be accused of being first and last in the queue. We tried explaining to her that they hadn’t received theirs yet but she made the same insistence to us so purely for equality we offered to pay for the crisps, which we did, so our children were not left out.

In summary. Spanish kids = free crisps and drinks. English/Swedish kids accused of greediness/theft/ no drink allowed and made to pay for crisps.

Not looking forward to my next week here funnily enough!
