This is a very traditional Spanish seafood tapas establishment, very rustic, not a posh place but definitely worth a visit.
It's used by lots of Spanish so that should speak for itself.
The food is great, freshly cooked to order, really tasty authentic food all swilled down with the white house wine (Casa) light & fruity, great value at 6 euros a bottle, excellent value.
We loved the black tomato salad, pil pil prawns, fried mixed fish & seafood kebab. Wasn't so keen on the paella though.
We found this gem last year, so glad we returned to try again.

We three British middle aged guys had had a sunbathe on the beach with two bottles of cava and a pint each in Eden Beach Club. At 19.00 on Saturday 20/1 we ascended the wiggly street we that visited fifteen years previously. We recognised the quaint corner bar as the same one we had dined and drank at all those years ago. We just HAD to have another small drink for old times' sake!

We checked the menu outside at 19:11 and it maintained the still good prices for the drinks. We were eating in our hotel (self catering) apartment so in we went to see those barrels again and order three drinks from the friendly Barlady. I ordered a Malaga, my friend a white wine and our friend an amontillado sherry. The barlady poured out the usual amount by eye for the white wine and there was a bit in the bottle left. I made a gesture of 'just throw it in' as well and she did just that with a smile! Considering (local spirits’) ’shots’ are quite generous in Spain this was a little more generous than usual and was much appreciated!

We took a table outside on the terrace in the streetlights under the ancient square mill. Only one other couple was there eating and drinking. We find all the drinks to be good quality (better than the 1840 bar Guardia in Malaga) and drank them slowly as more people arrived to drink and eat the tapas. I rushed off to Mercadona to buy our favourite red wine (wolf riding hood) and returned to finish the drink.

We left at 20:20 even happier than we arrived and the terrace was buzzing. Amazing place at great prices!!

We wanted to give five stars to this restaurant as the food is excellent for a reasonable price, but we didn't because on our visit there they charged us for the bread that they usually put as complimentary when you order as in all the restaurants in Andalusia. Especially because we did not ask for the bread, but they made us pay it anyway.
