Brilliant start to a visit to Málaga, or drinks in the evening .
You can walk up, rather steep much much easier than the walk down, with the slippery stones or pebbles!
The views are well worth the effort, you see the beaches, the harbour, the arenas and Roman theatre, the park, and a good deal of the city.
If lucky, you find a table and get yourselves a glass of Fino...
Salud!

I really enjoyed walking over the protection walls, this gives an amazing view over the city from all different angles. Gardens were more beautiful in the Alcazaba, but views were better at this place.

Half an hour walking up the hill was absolutely worth the views we found on top. The castle is amazing by itself. And the view from it on the sea and Puerto de Malaga was just stunning.

We didn't enter because of time constraint but from it we could see the whole city and the inferior part of the bull fighting arena. It was a bit of hike but really worth it. Can see the whole view of the city from the top.
