Excellent location, extremly well eqiuipt for a relaxing holiday without the disruption of TV and wi-fi. The urbanisation is well presented and all six pools are well kept and very clean. The villa is located right on the beach. The beach itself is infrequently used and we were often the only ones on it. Great for snorkelling and body boarding on other days when the sea picks up. Car parking is covered, keeping the car cool and is just up a flight of steps from the villa. There is a lush front and back garden which are great for bbq's and relaxing. This is a great location for visiting some of the great cities in Andelucia, each being only a couple of hours by car, or even a day trip to Morocco. This was simply the best holiday we have ever had!
We stayed here for a week over the December holiday. For us, this villa was perfect. We normally live in a very built up city area that is non stop, this place is the total opposite. Peaceful and private feeling the whole week. Perfect for young children with secure safe gardens. Morning coffee sitting outside and looking out to sea. Evenings cosy around the fire, brilliant. All the facilities in the villa (bathrooms & kitchen etc) are great, beds comfortable decor homely but not cluttered. Long story short, we didn't want to leave and can't wait to go back! Holly the owner is very helpful and pleasant. Andree the manager is warm and welcoming.
My wife and I stayed at Villa 97 with my brother in law and his wife for a week. The instructions as to how to pick up the key were comprehensive and easy to follow. The local manager whom we had to meet gave good concise instructions to enable us to find the property and gain entry. Two full sets of keys were also provided. The villa itself is lovely. Recently refurbished kitchen and bath rooms made it particularly nice. Downstairs there was a kitchen and a lounge diner opening to both the back and the front of the property. There was also a double bedroom with an en-suite bath/'shower w.c. The kitchen had two fridges, a freezer, plenty of crockery, glasses and cutlery. There was also a dishwasher and washing machine.Upstairs there were two further double bedrooms, one with a balcony overlooking the beach and another with four bunk beds. There was also a bathroom/w.c. Bedding and towels were provided.
The villa was situated just yards from the beach. Going through the patio doors from the lounge there was a covered area with table and chairs, a grassed open area suitable for sunbathing. There was then a low hedge on the other side of which was a footpath leading along the coast and then a seawall then the beach. You could be on the beach in less than 2 minutes.
Other amenities provided for use of the guests within the villa were a table tennis table with bats and balls, two sets of golf clubs, two fishing rods and a barbecue.
The only downside to this property is that there is no restaurant within walking distance (that we could find) from the property apart from a sad looking affair at one of the urbanisation entrances, a taxi to Puerto de la Duquesa only costs 11 euros each way and so taking a taxi is not that expensive. Otherwise the villa is ideally situated for either sightseeing (Gibraltar is only 40 minutes away) or for relaxing. Highly recommended
