We've been there many times and never been disappointed. Definitely our favourite bar. All 3 staff working there are very friendly and efficient; the whole place feels warm and welcoming. Generous measures of drinks. The montilla fino from the barrel and rioja are notable. The tapas and racions are the stars of the show. The hams and the salchichon are superb, as is the mature cheese. The quality of these and other simple traditional tapas is consistently good.
Don't go there for a riotous night out - go just to enjoy the unspoilt atmosphere of a traditional bar. Great for joining the locals for a simple breakfast, lunchtime or evening.
