The place was really busy as it was a Friday night. When we entered nobody seemed to notice. We had to approach the staff in order to ask for the table we had reserved. I never quite understood that kind of behavior. I mean, if you own a restaurant in one of the bigger cities, aren't you happy that guests come in and support your business? The design of the restaurant is typical old fashioned wooden chairs and tables and typical country-style. Well, the waiter that was assigned for our table was very nice and friendly. He was also very quick and efficient. It didn't take him long to complete our drink orders and the food was out pretty quickly as well. That is also the reason why I think the quality of the food is just ok because you can't expect to get fresh meals within that short period of time. The food you get seems to include a lot of convenience products as the flavor is not that good. The meals they offer are typical Czech meals such as roast, kraut and knoedel. I have to admit, having relatives and friends in the Czech Republic it is of course, hard to meet my expectations. The size of the meal is good, not too much and the prices are ok,too. I can't say anything about the history of this restaurant as this was my first visit. I'd go back and give them a second chance.
