Excellent staff and first class facilities. Great food and comfortable rooms. Reception team were very helpful when our car broke and helped us with great support. Thank you to the entire team at the hotel.

Very nice hotel, big and comfortable room, nice environment, very kind staff, and a wonderful garden to have dinner or just a drink. The only negative points, and it is my very personal opinion, is the carpet in the room, because I do not like them, and the absence of an air conditioning system.

Stayed for one night at the Elisenhof hotel and it is a very well kept hotel that is typical of smaller hotels in Germany. The room was clean, neat and provided a small mini bar at no charge. Good beds but no air conditioning but with a big fan in the room it was very comfortable. Service was polite and English was spoken.

I stayed there with my 2 sons to see a Bundeliga Game
we were very well looked after
Food was good
Staff is excellent
Free coffee and hot chocloate in the lobby is a nice touch
Also free drinks and nibbles in the bedroom
it was just nice to see that they were more interestedin looking after guests than trying to extort as much money as they can
Rooms were big and comfortable and the location was nice and quiet about a 30min walk form Rheydt Centre
Room tip: Breakfast was €15.00 weekdays and €18.00 at weekends - I couldn't justify spending €45 on 3 breakfasts for myself and 2 14 year olds

The hotel Elisenhof in Mönchengladbach is a good choice in Mönchengladbach or Rheydt. The hotel offers enough parking space for cars, even a parking space under the building.
The room was big, but the furniture and especially in the bathroom was not anymore in good conditions.
The hotel staff was very friendly and attentive.
The restaurant offers very good food and can be recommended.
But finally I was very astonished that this hotel has still rooms for smokers and unfortunately I got one of these rooms.

We just had 5 nights in the Elisenhof.
All the Staff of this hotel is very nice and professional, no doubt about that.
It's also a clean place but with no charm...
You'll also find what I would call a "good quality breakfast", but served in a overheated veranda, Which I was told, there is nothing to do about it.
The restaurant in the garden is also very pleasant, especially when the cook is taking care of the barbecue.
One bad point concern the extreme poor quality of the Internet Stream. We we're constantly asking to reset the " WIFI router"
