I stayed here just for one night, I think it was ok. Breakfast was quite good, rooms were also ok.
Staff is modest, but if you ask them they answer to questions regarding sights etc.
Location is convenient.

Stayed for three nights, asked for parking when I arrived but it was full. Clearly said on the booking that reservation was not needed. No excuse given, no help to find a parking space. Other than that, service was OK and breakfast was good. Extreme value for money. If they just told me that I had to reserve a parking space, I would have given them a top score.
Although a gas latern is standing just in front of it, this hotel is not located at the most romantic spot of Dusseldorf. However, it is well connected to the rest of the city, with a tram stop just around the corner. The breakfast buffet offers plenty of choice. My room featured a small desk and a comfy chair.
I spent two weeks in the hotel for a conference in Duesseldorf. The mini-fridge in the room was useful for storing ingredients for my packed lunch. The room was cleaned daily, it's a quiet area with excellent transport links, and close to a Netto and other shops, bars and takeaways. A very pleasant stay. The reception staff were very helpful and some of them spoke excellent English; the others tried their best to be helpful.
The room doesn't look particularly luxurious, and there was no air conditioning (so I had my window open at night), but this is a relatively cheap place to stay, so I wouldn't mark the hotel down for it.
I wasn't a fan of the continental breakfast (cured meats and cheese) but my guess is that this is a standard German thing. There were other options such as bread rolls and cereals. I'm quite fussy with cereals but the bread roll selection was excellent.
Only one minor complaint; there was a lamp directly above my head when I slept. The switch for this lamp is just above head-height, and, well, I whacked it in my sleep, giving myself a comically rude awakening.
The hotel room is basic. It has in-room mini bar, safe, and free decent wireless internet connection. Parking was not that much of a problem. On two occasions, I got lucky and found parking spots right in front of the hotel. But they were the last available spots. On one occasion, I returned after midnight and had to park about two blocks away. The breakfast was decent and typical. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful.
The room was too cold for me. But the shower was hot and had good pressure.
