The best thing about this hotel is it's location 5 minutes walk from the Godorf BF station on U-Bahn Line 16 for easy access to Cologne or Bonn. It is actually a southern suburb of Cologne. The rooms were relatively cheap, but fairly basic. The Wifi seems to be a third party provider, keeps dropping out, and is unreliable. I eventually gave up and boosted my 3G data allowance to use my phone as a hotspot. (Good reception for Telekom.de) As mentioned by others there is no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms, although my room came with a very small bar fridge. For tea I used my own electric immerser to boil cups of water for making tea in my room.
The owners speak little english, but are very friendly and accommodating.
Breakfast was a buffet style and fairly basic with meats, cheese, bread rolls, choice of 3 cereals, scrambled eggs with small pieces of bacon (warm) and some whole fruit. Occasionally some mini croissants and small tubs of yoghurt.
You can also order dinner here, and the food was always large servings, fresh cooked. My friend was vegetarian, so they went to some effort cooking up vegetarian dishes. On several evenings enjoyed have a 'pils' with dinner here.
The locals gather in the bar each night to watch football and have drinks. They are very friendly if you speak a little German. (My friend has some fluency)

There is also a bakery across the road open from about 6am to about 6pm which sells a small number of grocery items. There is a service station further north which is open much later, and an Aldi supermarket about 1.5km away to the north.
Don't expect too much from this hotel, but if you want a relatively cheap place with easy public transport access to Bonn and Cologne then this might suit.More
