Since I live and work in the area, we invited a Chinese delegation to this restaurant. When I visit China, I have the opportunity to sample regional food so I returned the favor.
We had a sample of local delicacies for appetizers and then the obligatory pork nuckles, heaven and earth, sausage and Schnitzel. The selection was good and menus in English were available. The waiter who spoke English was friendly "Cologne Style", e.g. you are served beer unless you clearly say "no". The reservation work well and they accept credit cards.
The food was OK, not great, but this is what you have to expect in a place like this. Therefore, I awarded 4/5 rather than 3/5. Tourists are a large customer group which is reflected in the food. Overall, I can recommend a visit when you are in the area. Visiting Cologne, you will certainly be walking close by....
