Its one of the few restaurants in Cologne with 'real' French cuisine. The selection of courses is quite large and with nice typicality. Although there is some buzz around this restaurant, we were not able to validate it. The caramelized duck liver pate tasted very burnt - three of us had this dish and experienced this. The service is kind of slow - way to slow for a restaurant that is only half full. Repeteadly, we had to let the bread coming in order to have something on the plate. The 180gr steak was nothing to rave about - looked quite dull indeed. The Confit de Canard was fried in oil and hence was very crispy - quite strange for a confit de canard. Of course, the total let down was the long hair in the sauce of the duck. Two cooks were indeed running around with long black open! hair. The chief servant knew exactly what had happened... After a much longer than expected dinner, nobody was in the mood for dessert. I guess this restaurant has to simply look out to get the basics right again. Yet chances are, I will not experience it again.
