Braugasthaus Zum Alten Fritz is situated some way from the centre of town, but can be reached by #3 bus (stop - Brauerei)
The place is the Ausschank of the Störtebeker brewery so carries their full range of draught and bottled beers.
The menu is pretty typically North German with a leaning towards fish and the standard of cooking is good.
I had some difficulty in attracting my server's attention as he concentrated on the 4 blokes at the adjacent table - I guess it was just another instance of SDS (Single Diner Syndrome).
The beer was good too. Anyone visiting in a group of two or more will probably give the place 5 stars.
