We spend 4 nights at this hotel during our recent trip to Frankfurt, the hotel was conveniently located with a variety of restaurants within walking distance and located close to the main arterial routes into and around Frankfurt. The staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were small but clean and sufficient. The hotel was well priced and the breakfast was a great spread. Would definitely recommend this hotel, especially if you want to get out of the central part of Frankfurt.

We arrived at around 10 pm and the hotel was locked. A sign on the door instructed us to call a phone number for a code to get in the door. There was no one to greet us. No staff on site whatsoever, as far as we can see.

There is no elevator. We were loaded down with luggage and had to carry it all up the stairs to a tiny room prepared for 1. (My husband's company mistakenly reserved the room for 1 instead of 2. There was no way to rectify the mistake however, because there is no staff on site.) There was one bottle of water with one glass, one piece of candy on the bed and one set of towels. There were 2 of us. It would have been nice to be able to call the reception desk to get water and towels for both of us!

The one bed covering provided did not even reach the edges of the mattress. No extra bedding was in sight and again, there was no staff to handle a request for enough bedding to cover both of us at once.

We were starving and there was no info in the room about nearby restaurants, and there was no point in going outside to walk around and look for a place because this is a residential neighborhood. The "hotel" is completely isolated. Even a vending machine would have looked good.

Positives: breakfast the next morning was adequate. A pleasant woman showed up to lay out a breakfast, and she was able to call a taxi for us. She does not speak English however, so if you can't speak German, you may have trouble communicating with her. The bathroom was very bright and clean and the decor is okay. The wi-fi is good. If you don't need a hotel with the standard services and amenities, you might enjoy this sleeping arrangement, but we were extremely uncomfortable.)

Been there before the refurbishment. It was already cozy before. Now it is a bit more organised especially on the ground floor since they changed the entrance so you don't have to walk through the breakfast room. However there is still no lift but the stairs is quite wide.

Pleasant hotel with neat and clean rooms - but a bit further away from the City than I was made to belive (EUR 24 by taxi!) - quite "opposite" the Messe! Pleasant staff and god breakfast. Nothing to complain -but also nothing to write home about :-).
Queit location - quite a distance to walk to the nearest U-Bahn station.

Not exactly what I would call a cheap place, but the rather high price is understandable, because I booked it during a period where a trade fair took place in Frankfurt.
The hotel appears to have been renovated very recently, everything was meticulously clean, and the rooms individually painted in pleasant colours (a nice change from the standard white).
The rooms are spacious and very convenient, the breakfast buffet has everything you need, including two different kinds of scrambled eggs (with and without bacon), and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is located in one of the suburbs, but the connection to the public transport is good, 5-10 minutes to walk to the next subways station; and from there it takes about 20 minutes to get to the central station, should I come again to Frankfurt I would choose this hotel again.
