This is an excellent hotel with first class service. The interior is very stylish and the rooms are large with modern furniture. The location across the park is nice and the city center is on walking distance. The parking garage is spacy and nearby. A stay in this hotel is highly recommended.

We have visited Bad Homburg several times in the summer over recent years for the Summer Festival. On most visits , we have stayed at the Steigenberger (and when we have stayed elsewhere we have realised how much we have enjoyed the Steigenberger !). This is a really nice experience with friendly, helpful staff, spotless rooms and good food.

Very pleasant as always. Very nice rooms and bathrooms - very spacious. The terrace was very welcoming last night after a day in the office. Would have liked some more deco (flower pots) on the terrace but service and food were nice. In general a very enjoyable stay.

Booking etc was smooth as well as the checkin . I had booked a sup room and was email contacted for an upgrade for a reasonable price tag - which I took.

Arrival fine - valet parking worked , luggage service offered. room - junior suite - was beautiful and definitely 5* standard.

Wellness area was empty, alright , but not to the standards of the hotel.
particularly the steam bath needs a renovation . Also no possibility to cool down in fresh air. All right - but
Room to improve.

Restaurant was closed - food served in the bar area, staff was busy but a bit inefficient.

Room noise and light isolation great - as said room flawless

Breakfast was good, maybe service a bit sub par ( fried eggs were not on the buffet - when asked the waiter did not go check but recommended to wait 5 minutes..)

Calls to reception were not answered ( when I wanted to have my car ready on departure)

Checkout was friendly but very slow, then I realized the breakfast was charged despite having had booked b&b- took it off, but usually I do not check and now I will off course . Also a parking ticket was not handed out , the one in the car was not prepared, so i called on the garage exit - took about 2 minutes until someone opened... maybe understaffed

Bottom line : great hotel with some service challenges

Beautiful decorated, stylish, clean. Booking our stay was not possible by the website, therefore we called an received an offer by phone. After providing our credit card details. We received a confirmation without breakfast. In our reply by email, the employed Informed us brutally that we never received an offer for the breakfast.

After arrival in the hotel the friendly receptionist corrected this and offered free parking while asking me not to discuss this with other staff, like we were in some sort of fraudulent scam with him.

Since they corrected their first misstake, we decided to dine in the restaurant. Our table was still dirty with dishes and glasses of our predecessors.

We asked to clear the table after for half an hour. The waiter was irritated and cleared half the table.

After managing our own waiter he was screaming 'ciao bella' to our children as a joke. Really awkward and not something you would expect in such a nice decorated restaurant.

The most akward was though whenche tried pooring water in the dirty glasses that were still on the table.

We paid about EUR 500 for one night and a diner. We certainly would expect more than this amateuristic behaviour of ill trained staff.

Lots of succes. Hotel certainly has potential to be more than is currently offered.
