I had a great week at the hotel attending a conference in the hotel. Staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The aquarium over the bar was great fun. Talking of the bar, excellent bar staff, with a huge selection of drinks and brands. It can get very busy early evening, but the staff are charming.

Room was very comfortable with great views.

My only negative was the packed lunches provided in the conference suite - soggy baguettes!

I really liked everything else though and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Room Tip: Request a room at front of hotel, high floor - you have balcony with great views over the city and s...

Generally very impressed with this place as it's clean and spacious, and the rooms are very comfy.

However, for some strange reason we had difficulty checking in and out as we had a group booking, but no idea why they seemed to take agres to process this....

Also, the lift system doesn't work very well.

Very comfortable rooms, and excellent reception area.

By and large it has all been said before. This hotel is fantastic and here's why. The location: it is centrally located (next to the Berliner Dom Cathedral and Pergamon Museum which are absolute must visits). You are literally 10 meters from Museum Island - our hotel room looked directly onto the Dom!

The price: it cost us 140 Euros for a night's stay with an incredibly diverse and excellent breakfast. Even if you don't mind spending more money for a room, you will not find a better hotel in Berlin, so go upscale and reserve a suite here.

The fish: it is novel to stay in a hotel where the giant circular fish tank in the atrium is a tourist attraction! We took the tour of the aquarium which includes a ride up the inside of the tank. It is a good aquarium (but not great), but this may be influenced by the fact we had just come from the Berlin Zoo which is tremendous.

The rooms are medium size and might require a bit of coordination for 2 people (with large suitcases) to move around the room. WIFI is very good. The hotel restaurant also has an outdoor patio which sits directly on the River Spree. You can watch the people on the river boats to your hearts content.

You can also visit the DDR (former East Germany) museum that is right below the hotel. The DDR museum is an interactive museum with a lot of interesting exhibits for young people unfamiliar with the history of the Cold War, but go early as it is relatively small and gets overcrowded easily.

Our visit to the Berliner Dom included a wedding - the church does not stop its normal activities because of tourists, but does ask you respect their services. Last but not least, there are many restaurants throughout the area and if you like to walk you can reach most every major attraction of interest within a 20 minute walk. However, still cannot figure out why people rave about Potsdamer Platz or Alexander Platz as they are just modern shopping plazas that are not that unique. Nevertheless, you can visit Berlin many times and still not see everything, but we will stay here on our next visit as well.

Room Tip: Either request an inside room overlooking the fish tank or a room looking over the Berliner Dom.

Radisson is situated right in the center of berlin, so you can have easy access to museums, attractions, shops and restaurants, nicely decorated rooms which had everything we needed. Also great breakfast and friendly reception

While at this rarity of a hotel, I found a new favourite fish (called bert), saw a frogman, beat my Dad at cards and drank fanta. I had a great stay with a balcony over the central area although outward facing balconies with views over - or should I say under - the amazing Alexanderplatz tower were also available. The room was clean and quiet - important things in my book - and the bar was sleek and modern. The hotel was just a short walk away from a market adorned with little stereotypically German log cabins which were, to my disappointment, clearly made from plastic. Live music really gave the market a festive feel and a bar sold an array of soft drinks but only one beer. While around Berlin look out for currywürsts.
I loved them!

The hotel was blessed with a giant fish tank with a double decker lift inside. That's what persuaded me to go there!
