I was excited to go to this little museum just off the Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin-Mitte, as I really like the brightly coloured paintings of Emil Nolde. What a disappointment! For an outrageously expensive entrance fee, you get little for your money. There are not many of Nolde's paintings to see, and they are displayed in cramped little rooms that felt cold and unwelcoming. You'll do better to see Nolde's work elsewhere in Berlin (at the Neue Nationalgalerie, for example).
