“A great platform”
Reviewed 21 July 2012

We spent a great deal of time wandering up and down this section of the Berlin Wall finding hidden details. I'd have liked to have seen them when they'd first been restored in 2009 as number of the works have been added to since.

“walk the wall”
Reviewed 20 July 2012

Worth a visit for sure. You can walk the length of the remaining wall then continue following the route (marked in most places by a line of cobbles in the road) as far as you like.

“Amazing and fun art on the Berlin Wall”
Reviewed 19 July 2012

Worth taking the time to seek this out. Even disregarding the fact this is a long stretch of the Berlin Wall which is an attraction itself the artwork is great - just a shame some people feel the need to leave their own graffiti.

“Definitely worth a look!”
Reviewed 18 July 2012

Growing up during the end of the Cold War has caused me to have a huge interest in the Berlin Wall. This was just down the street from my hotel and it was so neat to actually stand in front of this piece of history.

“Must do in Berlin”
Reviewed 18 July 2012 via mobile

I found this to be a very unique experience and when I think of Berlin I will think of East Side Gallery. Read up on Berlin wall and the story/history behind it before you go so that you will get more out of the paintings. It probably takes anywhere from 30 min to an hour when you stroll along taking pictures and whatnot. Free and definitely worth seeing even if you are only in Berlin a short time.
