We came at lunch time, the place was empty.
We ordered two burgers with fries and drinks. Totally 22.50 EU.

The burgers were tasteless, nothing special... Very boring meat.
The fries were OK.
I won't come again.
There are plenty of other burgers in Berlin.

Ah, the search for the perfect burger! The cheeseburger (all burgers are from Black Angus beef) was good, if alittle bit uninspired (5.50 Euros). We liked the bulleit bourbon bbq burger, with chedder, bacon, caramelized onions and bulleit bbq sauce, much more (5.80 Euros). The pulled pork (pork from Brandenburg) with chipotle mayo and bbq sauce was also very tasty (6 Euros). The sweet potato fries are irresistable - crispy and crunchy on the outside, soft and melty on the inside - arguably the top offering of bdv (3.50 Euros).
A small bottle of water costs 2 Euros, the brlo craft beer (brewed in Berlin! - good!) costs 4 Euros, a small bottle of red wine (only one kind) for 3.50 Euros.
While the burgers, buns and condiments were good to very good, the meat patty could have been larger, especially, thicker. All orders for medium were cooked well-done. It would be nice to have medium, well, medium! When the restaurant is close to full (more often at midday than in the evening) the wait can take awhile. While the search for the perfect burger continues, this is still a good place for a quick and tasty burger and heavenly sweet potato fries.

I wanted to love this place (great location, friendly staff) but I'm afraid the food wasn't very good. The fries were salty and tasted overcooked, both the fries and burgers we had were dripping with fat/oil (not in a good way) and it just wasn't very tasty.
I'm afraid there are better burger places (both fast and slow) where you can get your burger fix.
