Lovely cosy hotel located in the historic centre of Nuremberg. The rooms are very comfortable, well laid out and clean. The staff are professional and friendly and provide a high level of customer service. The leisure area includes a pool, sauna and fitness section. The pool size was comparable to that of other 4 star hotels in the city and was very quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was very tasty and varied and was served in a lovely historic dining room that featured a fantastic mural on human rights. Loved this hotels non-discrimination policy. Thank you for some old normal Burghotel 👍

Hotel is conveniently located near city square and churches. Rooms are clean and nicely appointed with enclosed shower. Staff was super friendly. Parking is located several blocks away and cost 14 euros. Breakfast is an extra charge. Hotel has pool and sauna in basement.

Room tip: Parking located short distance from hotel.

Have been a returning customer at Burghotel for many years now.
Nice and serviceminded staff.
This Hotel is old, but in good condition. At this moment they are upgrading.
Short distance to many nice places to see and close to restaurants. City center is in walking distance from the Hotel.

We turned up at the hotel for check-in early only hoping to be able to store our suitcase until our room became available. The extremely courteous and helpful Reiner (hope I spelled it correctly) said it was our lucky day as they did have a room ready for us.
The staff in this hotel are soooOOOooo friendly and helpful that words cannot credit them enough.
The hotel has a cleanliness which could embarass most operating theatres. It was immaculate everywhere.
Finally the location. It couldn't be better placed for the sightseeing tourist like myself.
If you are reading these reviews to decide whether to stay at the Burghotel or not then I really would urge you to book it. You definitely will not regret it.

Stayed at this hotel earlier this week. Around 55 bedrooms ours was on the 5th floor spaced out on 2 levels. Top floor had a modern (looked new to me) bathroom with one of those fancy freestanding bath tubs. Nearby compact area for double bed then a spiral staircase down to a sort of lounge area with tv. Breakfasts at the hotel were good, hotel very clean with friendly and very helpful staff. Didnt have time to try out basement swimming pool. Wifi was "hit and miss" in both bedroom and main part of hotel. But we were out sightseeing so wasn't a real issue. Hotel well placed in quiet road but within easy 8 minute walk of the old town and Christmas Kindle market and the local sights and restaurants. Perfect.
