This hotel is simply terrible. As if time has stopped in 1979. my room (1st floor) has a foul humid smell to it too. It seems this hotel doesn't need to do anything for its customers. Small detail: Internet vouchers only work for one device

This is a nicely located hotel that's few minutes from the convention center. The breakfast buffet has decent options and the in-room dining menu is good. Only drawback is the narrow and short bed. If you're tall or big, make sure you get a room with a king bed.

The hotel is absolutely o.k. for a business trip. It is not too far from the motorway and there is an underground station next to the hotel. The breakfast is excellent and in the restaurant they have very good food. The staff is very friendly. The room rates during trade fairs are too high.

Room Tip: I experienced no difference in various rooms

We stayed here while exhibiting at Nuremberg Messe, and with long days it was perfect to stay in a hotel so close to the underground which is very efficient with trains every five minutes in the morning and even more often going back after the fair closed for the day. Also only 10 minutes drive away. There are not that many restaurants close by, and in combination with being rather exhausted at the end of the day, having a restaurant just opposite the reception, i.e. only ten steps away was very conenvient and it also turned out to be an excellent restaurant. It is divided into two different ones, the winter garden and the Arve, slightly more expensive and a little bit more cosy, but both offering really good food and the servings were not too big as often happens in Bavaria. On the downside: please beware if you come by car after it is dark as the hotel car park contains a large amount of really huge and rough stones scattered around, tied to lampposts and in flower beds. This has probably been done to prevent people from parking or driving into the lampposts and beds, as the car park can become quite full, but it is also quite difficult when you do not see them in the dark and the front of the car swings over the kerbs (whithout the wheels touching or crossing the kerbs) as happened with our rented van. Another funny thing, the mattresses where covered in rubber sheets, making the proper sheets crumpling and it got really clammy during the night. So not the best of sleeping experiences. Breakfast was good, a huge variety of bread and rolls in particular. It is a large hotel, so it was nice to be able to sit down for breakfast without having to wait for a table to be cleared. There was a good capacity and the staff very efficent in clearing tables. Sometimes perhaps a bit too effective, as the plates were removed from under our noses at times. The room could have done with a comfortable chair to sit in, not just two "office" chairs.

Room Tip: Rooms facing underground station can be noisy, rooms facing away from car park quiet

Don't let the odd location in the southern industrial district of Nuremberg throw you - this is a first-rate hotel. Very nice room. The breakfast is the best I have ever had in a hotel, anywhere.
The only problem I met was not attributable to the hotel: the Chinese have become the worst-behaved tourists in Europe, and two Chinese women decided to have a good loud conversation with much yelling and laughing in the room next at me at 0650, with a third yelling in her cell phone down the hall. I had to get dressed and motion for them to be quiet
