I tried this hotel for the first time. Recommended by business colleague leaving nearby. Nice, small hotel. Modern style. Clean (commons spaces, room, area around, corridors). Personnel really kind and speaking both D and English. Room well set, not big but efficient usage of the space. Remarkable fitness room considering the hotel size. I didn't try the breakfast. I'll plan to return soon so as to expand my remarks.

Amalienburg is a nice place. The rooms were clean and well-equipped, the staff efficient and helpful. Good breakfast served in comfortable surroundings. There is a tram stop a few minutes walk away which will take you right into the city centre in about 20 minutes, and a rail station a little further away which will enable you to/from get to the airport easily. Schloss Nymphenburg and its park are close by (4 tram stops) although the weather prevented us from exploring properly.

Room Tip: No lifts/elevators in block 4, so choose a ground floor room if you have lots of heavy luggage.

I ended up staying here for one night. We initially booked this place because we were going to travel with rental car, but we canceled at the last minute. It was very clean and modern. The reception staff was wonderful and very helpful. They seemed like they really cared about their customers. The only thing to keep in mind is there is no real easy way to get to the airport if you don't have a car. They will arrange a taxi for you if needed.

Room Tip: very clean and modern

We arrived late in the evening to a warm welcome. As we were travelling as a family I had asked for a single a double and a twin close to one another and was pleasantly surprised to find that they were all beside one another. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were good. Two had showers and the twin had a bath with a shower over it and the room also had a balcony with a table and chairs There was a good choice for breakfast including eggs bacon and sausage, The S bahn was about 10 mins walk and there were also a number of nice restaurants within walking distance. A good base for a break in Munich.

Room Tip: Some rooms have balconies if you would like one

It's a very nice place to stay especially if you need a kitchen as well. It has easy accessibility to tram, bus and s-bhan and just 15 to 20 min to reach city center. The staff is very supportive. Other facilities are restaurant, mini bar in the room, well equipped Gym,ample space for car parking, laundry,WiFi,...
