We were very pleased with the apartment. It was very functional for our family, the bakery and grocery store were convenient, and the U-Bahn was just a two block walk. It was a quiet neighborhood as well as a quiet building. Jaime surprised us with an upgrade that worked out great. I would recommend this apartment for a family wishing to stay in Munich.
We went to Germany with our two young adult children. Munich was our last stop during our trip. The grocery store and bakery are right downstairs. We like to eat breakfast at home and move on and out for the rest of the day. The U-Bahn (the wonderful underground transit system) is only 3 blocks away. The sleeping arrangements - number of beds was numerous. The sheets and towels were clean. The building was safe and secure - we paid extra for an underground parking spot.
Only one complaint - not enough of (the right) dishes! We were a family of 4. There were 3 bowls. 2 non chipped small glasses, 3 wine glasses and no coffee cups (there was a coffee maker and filters). We drank coffee out of bowls and glasses. There were 6 demitasse cups and saucers, with no espresso maker. This is really a small thing, but for our family, it was the difference between 4 and 5 stars.
Wi-fi was free, but slow and not usable in bedrooms.
