My wife and I had a great 5 night stay in Pension Doria. The room was just what we needed and at a very reasonable price for the location. We found the bed comfy, had a nice balcony and the Giselastraße tube stop was just on the other side of a small park. It made travel to, and more importantly from, the Wiesn (Oktoberfest) a breeze. Add to that the pension personnel were friendly and quite helpful. It's a great find.
If you go, expect a few things: the bathrooms are shared by a handful of pension rooms (we had no issues), the furnishings are sturdy and comfy (think period, not modern), a pension by definition is within a larger apartment building so know you will have a key to the building, a key to the pension and another to your room.More
