The Laimer Hof is in a great neighborhood in Munich, walking distance to all types of restaurants and very near a huge outdoor beer garden (the Hirschgarten), as well as public transportation connecting you easily to downtown. The hotel itself is unique and comfortable and I cannot say nicer things about the staff. They gave us a ton of helpful information and made us feel so welcome. I highly recommend it. I only wish we had been staying longer.

We recently spend 4 nights at the Laimer Hof and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This family run hotel is in a great location and close to public transport. The helpful friendly staff were very willing to assist us and make suggestions how to explore Munich and surrounding villages. The room was clean & comfortable with a lovely breakfast. If we return to Munich, we will stay at this hotel again.

We stayed at the Laimer Hof for three days following a barge and bike trip in Germany, France and Luxembourg, and couldn't have picked a better place to end our European vacation. While it was not the most luxurious accommodation of the trip, it was clean and comfortable, and was the most memorable because of the friendly staff. This small family-run hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of the Nymphenburg Palace and the largest beer garden in Germany. We realized pretty quickly that we were given what was possibly the largest room in the hotel - others with us had tiny rooms and bathrooms, while we had couches, a coffee table and chairs in addition to the bed, desk and armoire and a good-sized bathroom. We actually hosted a group "dinner" (6 of us) in the room one night, and pre-dinner cocktails on our last night. The staff is the true treasure of this establishment - the owners, Sebastian and Alexandra really understand what customer service is. They provide assistance with anything needed, from dinner recommendations to directions to public transportation, which is close by. Sebastian welcomed us back from dinner with offers of espresso or wine, and even provided us with plates, silverware, glasses and napkins for our in-room gatherings. That kind of service is hard to find anywhere, and the Laimer Hof will be the hotel by which all others will be judged in the future.

Room Tip: We had a room (#31) on the first floor, that appeared to be more spacious than some of the others.

We stayed 4 nights and were sorry to leave. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful, the room was very livable and clean. The location was in a quiet suburb about 10 minutes from the centre by tram which was only a 5 minute walk. Cost was modest and wifi free and worked well. If we ever go to Munich again this is where we would stay.

Room Tip: This is a quiet area so probably doesn't matter.

Stayed 2 nights at this quaint little hotel. Sebastian and his staff were very friendly and attentive. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Bathroom is a little small but manageable. Will stay again on our next trip.
