Stopped here for a couple of nights whilst visiting Munich and going to watch a boxing match at the Olympic Park. Very well located for both being about 25-30 min walk to see the boxing and about 40 mins to the city.
I wasn't looking particularly for a youth hostel but on booking.com it came up as an option and was so well located and well priced we gave it a go.
As I said we found it to be really clean and the reception well organised. Dinner in the canteen was only 1 option on each of our nights but it was fine and well priced.
It was a shame that the pool tables in the bar were only available after 9pm.
1 member of staff was a bit grumpy and they should remember that youth hostel or not if they are advertising on hotel booking websites and getting a wider customer base of paying customers then they should not treat guys in their 30s and 40s as though they are dim witted students (not that all students are anyway!)
Next time I visit Munich I would cerrtainly look to stay there again.
