“I miss that bed!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 April 2012

Loved the Eden Wolff. Traveled around Germany for three weeks in April 2012 and of the 6 hotels I stayed at, the Eden Wolff was easily my favorite. The staff were great, room was a good size with a beautiful bathroom, the breakfast was excellent and the gym was an added bonus- not a huge gym, but stylish, spotlessly clean and enough equipment to do the trick. The best thing of all was the phenomenal bed. I could kick myself for not checking to see what company made that mattress- it was heavenly. Also, staying near the Hauptbahnhof isn't my first choice of location when visiting Munich, but the Eden Wolff is on the northside which is much quieter and lacks the seediness of the south side of the station where most of the other hotels are located. Walking to the Altstadt and all the major department stores is quick and easy and the Lufthansa airport bus is literally a few steps away. I would highly recommend a stay here and would certainly stay here again on my next trip to Munich.

Stayed here for 2 nights for a business trip as the Sheraton Westpark was fully booked. I was a little disappointed based on the hotel website and reviews I read before booking here. It is value for money as its location is ideal in the city centre, however, I felt the the plushness of the hotel on the website was a little misleading. The rooms are small and room 353 did not have that clean and fresh feel about it. There were some stains on the sofa which just put me off a little and there was a fair amount of noise through the night as it faces the train station directly. The room itself was perfectly functional and I had good access to wifi, although there is a 10 Euro charge for a day's access with an additional 5 Euro's for a second device, so for my laptop and IPhone, a total of 15 Euro's per day. Also have to ask if you want an iron in your room.
I had dinner in the restaurant and again, perfectly functional but again a little lack lustre. Food was delivered very fast but then I waited ages before being asked if I wanted dessert or coffee, so long in fact, that I just settled the bill in the end! Breakfast was reasonable, standard choices.Staff were friendly enough both in the restaurant and on reception.
I do not think I would stay here again for business. For touring the city, it is probably ideal. For business travel, The Sheraton Westpark is better value for room and restaurant/bar in comparison and definatley had a better ambience/feel to it.

Stayed here for 3 nights and I was pleased with the overall value. Check in was friendly and they had a room ready at 1pm, no need to argue. Room was def. small and not much room for luggage. You will find this with many single rooms in Germany, especially in older properties. The room was in good shape and well cleaned. Breakfast buffet was included and one of the better ones I have had for a while. The breakfast is serve in their Bavarian restaurant and offers a good variety of brekkie foods, including Weisswurst!
The property is located right opposite the train station and convenient to most of Munich's sites.

This hotel is a bargain in the midst of some pricey accommodation in downtown Munich. It's right beside the subway but also has the airport bus across the street. It's a 15 minute walk to the Marienplatz. The staff were most helpful- there's a computer available and to top it all off, we were given an upgrade. Our only complaint was that we didn't schedule a longer stay in this charming area!

ps: don't miss the Hofbrauhaus!

Room Tip: ask for non-carpeted
